Metrix Professional Insurance Brokers Inc. (Metrix) is a boutique independent insurance brokerage based in Vancouver, BC offering a range of insurance products with specialty expertise in professional liability and program business.

For over 20 years, Metrix has been working closely with the needs of its specialized clientele to service operations ranging from Architectural and Engineering firms to National Food and Beverage providers.

In 2013, Metrix was acquired by the Vertical Insurance Services Group. This relationship provides a national platform with global relationships providing clients increased operational efficiencies, buying power and access to markets; enabling Metrix to remain attentive to and available for all of your needs, large and small.

Risk Management

Metrix is not only your Insurance Broker, but your risk management business partner. As your business partner, we maintain a close relationship to gain insight into business operations. This includes an operational and contract review. Reviewing a business’s contracts allows for the identification and management of the exposures affecting business operations. This review assists Metrix in securing appropriate coverage in addition to ensuring operations are in compliance with the requirements imposed upon them by lenders, leases, vendor contracts or other third parties.

Next, we review marketing strategies and select insurers based on financial strength, experience and longevity, breadth and depth of coverage, and reputation and claims service. We then prepare a comprehensive report outlining all terms available in the marketplace specific to your needs.

Once coverage is secured, our relationship does not end there. We continue to monitor claims and accumulate statistics to manage the financial impact on your renewal term. When and if a claim does occur, we use the opportunity to further enhance your risk management program and create new business solutions.

Our continuous Risk Management process means that as our clients develop new services or products, implement new procedures or make acquisitions, the risks inherent in these new operations are identified and analysed, producing risk transfer and risk finance strategies throughout the year.
